Gingivitis Symptoms

Gingivitis is more common than you would think. You should not have to worry about this gum disease if you practice good oral hygiene. Common symptoms of gum disease (gingivitis) are having gums that are dark red, easily irritated, and there will be a soft gum area that may lead to bleeding during brushing or even before/after brushing. Another sign of gum disease are receding gumlines. You could also notice a formation of deep openings between the teeth and gums wherein later, plaque and food particles can be. In some cases patients will experience bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth.
